Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data LuggageKeeper platform collects from you, through our interactions with you and through our services.

When this policy mention “LuggageKeeper,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to the LuggaKeeper company that is responsible for your information under this Privacy Policy (the “Data Controller”).

When these terms mention “Keepers”, it refers to the LuggaKeeper’s partners that are the local shops where you can drop off your luggage.

I. Information we collect

There are three broad categories of information we collect from you.

I.I Information You Give Us.
We collect information you share with us when you use the LuggageKeeper Platform.

  • Account Information. When you sign up for an LuggageKeeper Account, we require certain information such as your name and email address.
  • Profile Information.When you create your profile within the LuggageKeepeer Platform, we may also ask you to complete a profile, which may include your name and phone number.
  • Payment Information.  We collect your financial information as your credit/debit card information when you use the Payment Services to process payments.
  • Communications with LuggageKeeper.When you communicate with us, we collect information about your communication and any information you choose to provide.
  • Other Information.You may otherwise choose to provide us information when you fill in a form, conduct a search, update information to your LuggageKeeper Account, respond to surveys, participate in promotions, or use other features of the LuggageKeeper Platform.
I.II Information We Automatically Collect from Your Use of the LuggageKeeper Platform.
When you use the LuggageKeeper Platform, we collect information about the services you use and how you use them.
  • Usage Information.  We collect information about your interactions with the LuggageKeeper Platform, such as the pages or other content you view, your searches for Listings, bookings you have made, and other actions on the LuggageKeeper Platform.
  • Location Information. When you use certain tools of the LuggageKeeper Platform, we may collect diverse types of information about your general location (e.g. IP address, zip code) or more specific location information (e.g. precise location from your mobile GPS). Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable the use of location services for applications in the device’s settings menu.
  • Log Data.  We automatically collect log information when you use the LuggageKeeper Platform, even if you have not created an LuggageKeeper Account or logged in. That information includes, among other things: details about how you’ve used the LuggageKeeper Platform (including links to third party applications), IP address, access times, hardware and software information, device information, device event information (e.g., crashes, browser type), and the page you’ve viewed or engaged with before or after using the LuggageKeeper Platform.
  • Transaction Information.  We collect information related to your transactions on the LuggageKeeper Platform, including the date and time, amounts charged, and other related transaction details.
  • Other Information.You may otherwise choose to provide us information when you fill in a form, conduct a search, update information to your LuggageKeeper Account, respond to surveys, participate in promotions, or use other features of the LuggageKeeper Platform.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies.  We use cookies and other similar technologies, such as web beacons, pixels, and mobile identifiers.
    Definition of "Cookies"
    Cookies are a small text file created by a website that is stored in the user's computer either temporarily for that session only or permanently on the hard disk (persistent cookie).
    Why do we use "Cookies"?
    The main purpose of a cookie is to identify users and possibly prepare customized Web pages or to save site login information for you. In summary we use cookies to: understand and save preferences for next visits; keep track of advertisements; compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions to offer a better experience and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.
    Your Choices

I.II Information We Collect from Third Parties

We may collect information that others provide about you when they use the LuggageKeeper Platform or obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through the LuggageKeeper Platform.

We do not sell, trade, or else transfer to external parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance announcement. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

  • Third Party Services.  If you link, connect, or login to your LuggageKeeper Account with a third-party service (e.g., Facebook), the third-party service may send us information such as your registration and profile information from that service.
  • Third-party links. Sometimes, with our authorisation, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

II How do we use your information?

We use, store, and process information about you to provide, understand, improve, and develop the LuggageKeeper Platform, and to create and maintain a reliable and safer environment.

II.I Developer and improve LuggageKeeper Platform
  • Allow you to access and use our Platform and the Payment Services.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Send you service or support messages, such as updates and security alerts.
  • In case you provide us your contact information, we may use and store this information: (1) to facilitate your referral invitations, (2) send your requests for references.
II.II Safe environment
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity.
  • Conduct checks against databases and other information sources.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.
  • Resolve any disputes with any of our users and enforce our agreements with third parties.
  • Apply our Terms of Service and other policies.
II.III Advertising and Marketing
  • Send you promotional messages, marketing, advertising, and other information that may be of interest to you based on your communication preferences.
  • Personalize, measure, and improve advertising.
  • Administer referral programs, rewards, surveys, sweepstakes, contests, or other promotional activities or events sponsored or managed by LuggageKeeper or its third-party business partners.
